Adopt-A-Thon and Dog Walk

SATURDAY, JUNE 5, 2010

NAY AUG PARK, SCRANTON, PA

Net proceeds to benefit local animal shelters and rescues. The goal is to find forever homes for wonderful homeless animals, promote advocacy raising awareness of the need for foster and forever homes, and raise money to help the rescues.  Groups of Shelters and Rescues from all over the U.S. will be in attendance with some of their great doggies for adoption. Nancy from NEPA Animal Adoption Network, who is an award winning Animal Activist, will be our Special Guest Announcer. Nancy will also kick off the event by leading the Dog Walk so be sure to bring your leashed pets (non-agressive only please).  Live music by Jackson Vee and Mike Barrase, lots of delicious food, motorcycle rally, pet photos, artists of all mediums, including tattoo artists with art for display and to sell, laser tattoo removal specialists, pet massage therapists, therapy dogs, dog trainers, Canine Good Citizen testing, local veteranarians, vet techs, pet sitters, groomers, boutiques, baskets raffles, 50/50 raffles, auction and many more fun things.
